  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Black Pepper.
  • 4 Onion Rolls

  • ¼ cup Ketchup (Optional)
  • ¼ Cup Mustard (Optional)
  • 1 Thinly Sliced Vidalia Onion (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp enough to crumble. Drain , retaining the 2 tsp. of drippings.
  2. Chop the bacon into very small pieces like bacon bits.
  3. Flatten turkey until it is about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Spread roasted garlic, salt, pepper, Frito® chip crumbs, and bacon on the meat then fold the meat over. The colder your meat, the easier it will be to work with. I suggest freezing the meat for about 20-30 minutes to slightly harden it.
  5. After you fold the meat in half. Flatten out to ¼ inch again.
  6. Then slice into 4 equal patties.
  7. Place a cast iron skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  8. Add the bacon drippings and wait for the oil to heat up.
  9. Cook your burgers on each side for about 3 ½ minutes or until well done.
  10. Add cheese last 30 second of cooking if desired.
  11. Serve on an onion roll with mayo, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion.
