Recipe: Sage Leaf Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 1 – 1 1/2 inch thick Pork Chops 8 Large Sage Leafs 1 TBSP Kosher Salt 1 TBSP Fresh Black Pepper 2 TBSP Olive Oil + 2 TBSP. 2 cloves of garlic minced.

Instructions

  1. Rub down the pork chops with the first dose of olive oil and sprinkle with the salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Then take the sage leafs and push it into the meat of the pork chops being careful not to damage the chops. The sage should stick just fine, but if it doesn’t use a bit more oil to act as a glue.
  3. Finally over low heat sweat the garlic till it starts to smell real good.
  4. Then add the pork chops and increase the heat to medium.
  5. Continue to cook till the pork chops are done. (165 F)
